green tahini
Whether you call it tahini or tehina, we can all agree it's delicious.
It takes just a few ingredients to create a creamy, light, and delicious homemade tahini sauce. Have it on its own with pita bread or drizzle some on a salad. Often served alongside Middle Eastern dishes like hummus, falafel, or shawarma.
¾ cup Cold water, more water if needed
1 clove Garlic
¼ tsp Salt
¼ tsp Pepper
1/2 Lemon, juiced
1 cup of parsley
Equipment:
Whisk
There are 2 ways of making this tahini sauce.
Way 1:
Add all ingredients into a food processor and just let her rip until tahina is fully blended and it has a beautiful green color.
Way 2:
If u dont have a food processor chop the garlic and parsley as fine as you can, then whisk a the ingredients in a mixing bowl. it won't get the beautiful green color but it would still taste delicious.
*You may play around with the water amounts based on how loose or thick you like your tahini sauce.
